Scope
This standard specifies the general technical conditions and technical requirements for astro fighter category. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, installation, modification, maintenance, inspection and use management of amusement rides of astro fighter category. This standard applies to amusement rides where the passenger-carrying part is fixed on a rigid arm, rotates around a central axis and performs lifting motion, as well as amusement rides with similar structure and motion patterns.

This standard specifies the general technical conditions and technical requirements for astro fighter category.
Safety analysis and safety assessment shall be carried out during the design of astro fighter category, and the content shall at least include safety analysis and assessment of the following aspects: reliability of start and stop; danger caused by over-limit position of lifting arm; danger caused by failure of seat balance rod; impact start of lifting oil (gas) cylinder; danger caused by oil pipe rupture; impact of oil (gas) station noise on the surrounding environment; safety performance of electrical components and wires inside the seat; evacuation measures for passengers stranded in the air during power failure or mechanical failure.
Design loads shall comply with the provisions of 4.2 of GB 8408-2008.
Design calculation of astro fighter category shall comply with the provisions of 5.5 of GB 8408-2008.
Main shafts and important welds (see Appendix A) directly related to personal safety shall be subjected to stress calculation, and fatigue calculation if necessary. The safety factor shall meet the provisions of 3.3.2 and Table 3 of GB 8408-2008.
