Scope
This standard specifies the grade and specification requirements, inspection methods, packaging and labeling for fresh fruits of sweet oranges, loose-skin mandarins, tangors, lemons and limes, pomelos, tangelos, grapefruits, and kumquats. This standard applies to the grading, inspection, and packaging of the appearance quality of fresh citrus fruits.

Fruits shall be intact, sound, free from cracked fruit and frost-damaged fruit;
Free from cuts, bruises, abrasions or excessively large healed wounds;
Free from decay, deteriorated fruit, clean, essentially free from visible foreign matter;
De-greening treatment of citrus fruits is permitted, provided it meets the requirements of Table 1 and the method used shall comply with relevant national regulations.
