Introduced breeding rabbits should be isolated and raised for 30 d to 40 d, and only after observation showing no disease can they be introduced into the production area for raising.
There should be no large chemical plants, mining sites, tanneries, meat processing plants, slaughterhouses, or other livestock farm pollution sources within 1 km around the rabbit farm.
Breeding rabbits should not be introduced from epidemic areas.
Breeding rabbits for producing commercial meat rabbits should come from breeding rabbit farms with a breeding rabbit production and operation license, and the breeding rabbits should have normal growth and development, be healthy and disease-free.
