This standard specifies the terminology, requirements, test methods and inspection rules for environmental conditions of pollution-free tropical fruit production areas. This standard applies to the environmental conditions of production areas for pollution-free tropical fruits that are peeled before consumption (banana, mango, pineapple, lychee, longan, papaya) and tropical fruits that are consumed without peeling (carambola, guava).

This standard applies to the environmental conditions of production areas for pollution-free tropical fruits that are peeled before consumption (banana, mango, pineapple, lychee, longan, papaya) and tropical fruits that are consumed without peeling (carambola, guava).
The production area for pollution-free tropical fruits shall be selected in agricultural production regions with good ecological environment, far from pollution sources, and with sustainable production capacity.
The ambient air quality of pollution-free tropical fruit production areas must comply with the provisions of Table 1.
