This standard specifies technical requirements for E-type glass textile braided sleeving with a continuous polyurethane (PUR) coating and a temperature index of 155, covering dimensions, colors, and performance properties such as resistance to soldering heat, flexibility after heating, low-temperature flexibility, coating hydrolysis resistance, breakdown voltage, insulation resistance, flame propagation, and heat resistance. The sleeving has nominal internal diameters from 0.50 mm to 30.00 mm and is available in various colors. The standard also defines designation rules, test methods, and conformity assessment criteria, and it modifies IEC 60684-3-409:1999 to suit national conditions.
