Scope
This part of GB/T 7113 specifies requirements for three types of braided or knitted E-type glass textile sleeving with a continuous coating of silicone elastomer, differentiated by breakdown voltage (GB/T 7113.5-400 type: high breakdown voltage; GB/T 7113.5-401 type: medium breakdown voltage; GB/T 7113.5-402 type: low breakdown voltage). Practice has proven that this type of sleeving is suitable for use at 180℃ and below. The internal diameter of this type of sleeving is usually between 0.30 mm and 25.00 mm, and it is available in the following colors: black, grey, white, red, yellow, blue, brown, green, yellow/green, and natural. In addition to the dimensions or colors listed in this part, other dimensions or colors can be customized according to customer requirements. These products, if they meet the requirements listed in Table 2 and Table 8 except for dimensions, shall be considered as conforming to this part. Materials that meet the requirements of this part have achieved the established performance levels. However, when selecting materials for a specific application, users should choose based on the actual requirements necessary for that application, and not solely on this part.
