Scope
This part of GB/T 7113 specifies requirements for three types of braided or knitted E-type glass fiber sleeving with a continuous acrylic based coating, differentiated by breakdown voltage (GB/T 7113.4-403 type: high breakdown voltage; GB/T 7113.4-404 type: medium breakdown voltage; GB/T 7113.4-405 type: low breakdown voltage). Practice has proven that this sleeving is suitable for use at 155°C and below. The nominal internal diameter of this type of sleeving is typically between 0.30 mm and 25.00 mm, with wall thickness between 0.15 mm and 1.20 mm, and is available in the following colors: black, white, red, yellow, blue, brown, green, green/yellow, and natural. These products, if they meet the requirements listed in Tables 2 and 4 for properties other than dimensions, shall be considered as conforming to this part. Materials that meet the requirements of this part have achieved established performance levels. However, when selecting materials for a specific application, users should choose based on the actual requirements necessary for that application, and not solely on this part.
