Scope
This standard specifies the technical specifications, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of hydrolyzed feather meal for feedstuff. This standard applies to hydrolyzed feather meal (including expanded hydrolyzed feather meal) obtained from feathers removed from poultry carcasses and feather quills screened from down products after hydrolysis treatment under certain temperature, pressure, and time.
