Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transport, and storage of paper and board tensile testers. This standard applies to tensile testers (hereinafter referred to as "tester") for the tensile strength and elongation of paper, board, and other low-strength sheet materials. Periodic technical status checks of the tester during use should also refer to this standard.

The indication accuracy of the tester, within the measurement range corresponding to each level range, shall comply with Table 2 according to the class.
The application and removal of test force by the tester shall be smooth, continuous, without impact or vibration.
When the test force exceeds 2% to 10% of the upper limit of the measurement range, the tester shall immediately and automatically stop applying the test force.
The tester shall operate without abnormal noise, and the sound pressure level during overall operation shall not exceed 60 dB (A).
