NY/T 629-2002 is a Chinese agricultural industry standard that specifies the definition, quality requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements for propolis. The standard classifies propolis into four grades: premium, first grade, second grade, and substandard. Sensory indicators include state, odor, color, and taste.
