Scope
This standard specifies the quality grades, test methods, and sampling and evaluation methods for blower products. This standard is applicable to the quality evaluation of centrifugal blowers for general use (hereinafter referred to as blowers) used in the petroleum industry, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry and other sectors.

Blower products are divided into three grades according to their quality level: qualified product, first-class product, and premium product.
In addition to complying with the provisions of JB/T 7258, the assessment items and indicator requirements for each grade shall be as specified in Table 1.
When measuring vibration during the mechanical running test of the blower at the specified speed, either the allowable vibration velocity RMS at the bearing or the allowable shaft vibration peak-to-peak displacement near the journal may be satisfied.
The pass rate of key items of blower components shall reach 100%, and the items are: rotor balance quality grade; fit dimensions with rolling bearings; casting quality of bearing alloy, and bonding degree between bearing alloy and housing.
The quality grade of a product shall be determined in accordance with the requirements of all assessment items specified in this standard. Otherwise, the grade shall be determined based on the lowest indicator achieved, and no grade shall be assigned if any item is missing.
