Scope
This standard specifies the product quality grading, test methods, sampling methods and evaluation methods for mechanical automatic strapping machines. This standard applies to mechanical automatic strapping machines (hereinafter referred to as strapping machines) that use plastic strapping tape for machine use as the strapping material and have a hot-melt lap joint type.

The strapping machine shall comply with the relevant provisions of JB/T 3790.1, and its quality grading shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 1.
