Scope
This standard specifies the quality grades, quality grade indicators, sampling, grade evaluation, and test methods for power reciprocating pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumps). This standard applies to pumps conveying media such as particle-free clean water, oily wastewater, emulsions, crude oil and its petroleum products, and chemical liquids, with rated discharge pressure up to 50 MPa, flow rate up to 140 m3/h, temperature 5~130°C, and kinematic viscosity not exceeding 850 mm2/s.

The comprehensive quality of pump products is divided into three grades: qualified product, first-class product, and premium product.
Under the premise that pump products comply with the requirements of GB/T 9234 and the drawings, the assessment items and indicators for each grade shall be as specified in Table 1.
Only when all quality indicators of a sample meet the specified requirements of a certain grade in this standard can the sample be rated as that grade; otherwise, it shall be rated according to the lowest grade achieved by any one indicator.
When all pumps are tested individually, the batch can be rated as first-class only if the rate of first-class products reaches 80% or more and the remaining pumps are not lower than qualified products; it can be rated as premium only if the rate of premium products reaches 80% or more and the remaining pumps are not lower than first-class products.
The performance test of the pump shall be carried out according to GB/T 7784, the noise test according to GB/T 9069, and the cleanliness test according to JB/T 6913.
