Scope
This standard specifies the product quality grades, test methods, and sampling and evaluation methods for expandable polystyrene foam molding machines. This standard applies to the product quality grading of expandable polystyrene foam molding machines (hereinafter referred to as molding machines) as specified in JB/T 5293-1991 "Expandable Polystyrene Foam Molding Machine".

This standard specifies the product quality grades, test methods, and sampling and evaluation methods for expandable polystyrene foam molding machines.
Molding machine products are divided into three grades: qualified product, first-class product, and superior product, based on their quality level and use value.
In addition to complying with JB/T 5293, the assessment items and index requirements for each grade shall also comply with Table 1; for molding machines with vacuum function, the production capacity shall be increased by 10% as specified in Table 1.
Product test methods shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 5293.
When evaluating the product quality grade, all technical requirements of the assessment items for that grade must be met; otherwise, the grade shall be determined based on the lowest index achieved.
