Scope
This standard specifies the product quality grades, test methods, sampling and evaluation methods for static pressure air bearing turbine expanders. This standard applies to static pressure air bearing turbine expanders (hereinafter referred to as expanders) as specified in JB/T 4334. This standard does not apply to vapor-liquid two-phase expanders.

This standard specifies the product quality grades, test methods, sampling and evaluation methods for static pressure air bearing turbine expanders.
Expander products are divided into three grades: qualified product, first-class product, and premium product, based on their quality level and use value.
In addition to complying with JB/T 4334, the isentropic efficiency index and various product quality grading indicators of the expander shall be assessed according to Figure 1 and Table 1.
Sampled products shall be randomly selected from products that have been appraised and passed the manufacturer's self-inspection and entered the warehouse, or from the user's site.
