This standard specifies the quality grade indicators, testing methods and inspection rules for submersible motor-pumps for deep well. This standard applies to submersible motor-pumps for deep well (hereinafter referred to as electric pumps).

According to the technical level and quality level of the electric pump products, they are divided into qualified products, first-class products and superior products.
The allowable deviation of pump efficiency at specified point: the lower deviation for superior and first-class products is specified as 1%; the lower deviation for qualified products shall comply with the provisions of Grade C in 11.4.6.3 of GB/T 12785—1991.
The deviation of pump flow and head: qualified products shall comply with the provisions of Grade C in 11.4.6.2 of GB/T 12785—1991; first-class and superior products shall comply with the provisions of Grade B in 11.4.6.2 of GB/T 12785—1991.
