Scope
This standard specifies the quality indicators, inspection methods, sampling inspection and grade evaluation rules for the product quality of commonly used external meshing involute gear pumps (hereinafter referred to as gear pumps) and internal meshing cycloidal gear pumps (hereinafter referred to as rotor pumps) for internal combustion engine oil pumps (hereinafter referred to as oil pumps). This standard is applicable to the inspection and evaluation of product quality of gear pumps and rotor pumps for internal combustion engines. Internal meshing involute gear pumps may refer to this standard.

Oil pump products are divided into three grades: qualified product, first-class product, and superior product according to their different quality indicators.
The internal impurity content of the oil pump shall not exceed the oil pump cleanliness limit specified in JB/T 9774.
When the oil pump is at the rated speed and rated discharge pressure, the volumetric efficiency and total efficiency shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.
After complete inspection of the sample, when the number of nonconformities of each type of nonconformity in the sample is less than or equal to the Ac value for superior product, the inspected product is rated as superior product; when the number of nonconformities of each type of nonconformity in the sample is less than or equal to the Ac value for first-class product, the inspected product is rated as first-class product; when the number of nonconformities of each type of nonconformity in the sample is less than or equal to the Ac value for qualified product, the inspected product is rated as qualified product.
