Scope
This part specifies the technical requirements, process parameters, process methods, materials and tools used, and inspection methods for conventional rivet riveting. Appendices A and B respectively specify special requirements for riveting of high-temperature alloy rivets and riveting of titanium alloy and stainless steel riveted parts. This part is applicable to the riveting of round head, flat cone head, countersunk head, 120° countersunk head, large flat round head conventional rivets and high-temperature alloy rivets.
