Scope
This standard specifies the definitions and symbols, materials, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of thermoplastics globe valves (hereinafter referred to as globe valves). This standard applies to manually or power-driven globe valves used in civil cold and hot water systems, drinking water systems, heating pipeline systems, and pipeline systems conveying industrial water and other non-aqueous media under conditions considering the chemical resistance and heat resistance of materials. The range of nominal sizes is DN 10, DN 15, DN 20, DN 25, DN 32, DN 40, DN 50, DN 65, DN 80, DN 100, DN 125 and DN 150. The range of nominal pressures is PN 0.6, PN 1.0, PN 1.6.
