Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grades, ordering information, dimensions, shape, weight and permissible deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate for hot-rolled ribbed bars for reinforcement of concrete (hereinafter referred to as bars). This standard is applicable to hot-rolled ribbed bars for reinforcement of concrete. This standard is not applicable to recycled bars re-rolled from finished steel products.
