Scope
This standard specifies the accuracy, tolerances and inspection methods for straight sided single and two-point mechanical power presses. This standard is applicable to general purpose straight sided single-action mechanical power presses, such as crank-type and eccentric-type presses used in blanking, bending, forming and drawing processes of metal materials (hereinafter referred to as presses). This standard is not applicable to forging presses, multi-link presses and special-purpose presses with special structures (such as powder forming presses).

This standard specifies the accuracy, tolerances and inspection methods for straight sided single and two-point mechanical power presses.
This standard is applicable to general purpose straight sided single-action mechanical power presses, such as crank-type and eccentric-type presses used in blanking, bending, forming and drawing processes of metal materials.
Before accuracy inspection, the installation level of the press shall be adjusted; the level shall be measured by placing a level at the middle of the worktable along the longitudinal and transverse directions of the press, and shall not exceed 0.20/1000 mm.
The upper surface of the worktable is the reference plane for accuracy inspection of the press.
Geometric accuracy inspection of the press shall generally be carried out under no-load (i.e., idle) conditions, in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 10923.
